I am moving out of state and need to trade my tractor in Alabama and buy new equipment in colorado. Does anyone know if this is possible?

That would be up to the dealer. I think you're looking to trade your tractor in Alabama and take delivery of the new one in Colorado. Your best bet would be to speak directly with the Alabama dealer and see if he's willing to set up something like that. You may have less headache just selling your tractor outright and purchasing a new one at your destination, or at least ask the dealer at your destination about availability of your chosen model.

If your happy with your current tractor and it fits your needs on the new property would it not be better to just have it transported to the new property?

OR ....... are you simply using the move as a reason to purchase new equipment.

Whatever - I would be interested to know if you are able to set up some type of deal, like you indicate, with a dealer.

I was able to do that with a new pickup when we moved down from Alaska. Traded in my pickup and bought a new one in AK. Picked up the new pickup at a local dealership here in Ea WA state.
