Dosn't New Holland make a Super Steer tractor. I never looked to close at them, they are a bit more than I wanted to spend. If they steer real sharp it might solve your turn around problem.

I would think that if you can borrow or rent a light duty 6 footer, you will get your answer, without laying out the cash to purchase.
If you are just mowing down grass between the rows you may be OK. What you need to do is slow your ground speed to keep your RPMs and momentum going on the mower. The only problem... Running slower with this machine to compensate may take as long as it did with the 5 footer. That is a big cutter on a small PTO HP machine.
It sound lik your rows are big enough for a DKseries to get through. A 4 cylinder diesel vs. a 3 cylinder will make a huge difference.
Sorry to say, you may be right about a "Too Small" choice.

Ere, i took the 2.75% for 48 months on my deal. The rates are posted here someplace but not on Kioti's website(1.75 to 3.75 i think). My Ck was @ 6.9% & i had a little under 3 years to go. I put down enough to keep the payment close. Unless they extended it, the "special" rates end today. I would guess that they will get extended since Kubota & Massey have zero financing available.
The 40 is a beast, i find the turning raduis very similar to the 30. My dealer talked me out of the 7' hog saying it is alot more weight and almost $1K more in price. The 6' hog is nice and powerfull enough to whack trees up to 3-4" in diameter, so it looks like it will work out fine.
