Nice! You have to let us know how what you think of the shifting under load. I am considering the same transmission and would like to hear how it performs. I have driven the NH TD80 with their implementation and found the shifting to be anything but smooth. I long for something as nice as the T/A on my old International, just pull the lever back and it slowed smoothly while mowing at full power.

I've got the PowrReverser tranny in my cab, 5075M. Good transmission - very smooth - easy, clean shifting on the go, too!

Have the SS attach on the 563SL loader, too.

One thing I would have done differently on the tranny - creeper gear. I use a big rototiller and a large brush clearing attachment similar to a Fecon - but runs off the PTO.

Creeper gearing would have been a real advantage for those uses. 'Course the ultimate combo would be the 32x16 with creeper!!! :thumbsup: But... you gotta draw the line somewhere..

Oh yah, get the reverser modulator. It'll keep your forehead outta the windshield!! :laughing:

Don't believe that's the case. It's an Electro-hydraulic switch. When you need to gear down a bit - hit the switch.

I looked at a range chart that listed the speeds of the transmission with/without the Overdrive engaged. IIRC - it's about a 20% change in the gear ratio - up or down.

Your salesperson should have some literature on it.

Good option - IMO.

No it won't. The 32/16 transmission is a Hi Lo transmission not an electronic shift like the Massey Dyna4 or DynaQPS.

Each of the 4 gears has a low gear associated with it that gives you a 20% reduction in speed and an increase in torque. You shift up or down between the two with the push button.

4 gears in 4 ranges =16 and with hi & lo you get 32.

If you have any hills then it is great. As you start up the hill and the tractor starts to strain, you hit the button and it shifts to low. No clutching needed.

I haven't driven Deere's implementation but have driving New Hollands. I found their shift to be a bit abrupt.

i just bought a flat farm or I would be opting for the 5075M 32/16 for my next tractor.

Congratulations, ought to be a real nice tractor and tranny setup.:thumbsup:
