Today was the big day here on the Farm. I've had my NH Boomer 3050 with CVT (On The Left) for over a year now and it has run flawlessly, but now have much larger property in acreage to maintain so I decided on a NH T4.75 with FEL (On The Right). Said goodbye to the Boomer with a bit of sadness since it was my first cab tractor then took the T4.75 for a spin, trying out all the gears etc. I had totally read the manual last night so the placement of knobs and levers was already familiar. Wow, for me this is a much larger tractor as it weighs a additional 2,000 pounds over the Boomer 3050 and with the added wheel base and air pressurized seat a dream to drive. Being some what older I also like the decreased "computerized" accessories on the T4.75. Time will tell !!!

Congrats! Please update the thread with additional thoughts and pictures as you get some seat time. What implements do you mostly use with it?

I have a hydraulic grapple for the front end for picking up large limbs, 6 foot Rhino shredder, 73 inch Caroni Flail Mower, 93 inch Caroni Estate finishing Mower, Disc Plow, Standard Front Forks, Post Hole Digger and Grader Blade. All the toys anyone would need to work on acreage and a very accepting wife when it comes to work savers around the farm. Kubota and John Deere Diesel quick turn mowers and assorted Pecan Harvesting machinery. 1919 Ford Model T and 1931 Ford Model A. This is heaven on Earth except for all the batteries to tend too and tires to keep filled! :)

Took a spin out to the front gate in the dark to get the mail from last night and tried out the headlights and spot lights at the top of the cab and everything was super bright. I have odd sleeping patterns and mow sometimes during warm weather at 3am-4am in the morning so good lights are a must for me. Tried the regular speed PTO and Econo-PTO and ended up with some slight grinding to get the PTO into gear following instructions to the letter so will call the dealership next Monday and ask some questions. I wonder if actually having a implement on the PTO shaft might make a difference?

Used the internal compressor under the air ride seat to pump up the level to match my weight and "yellow to green" indicator and the seat is like sitting on a cloud. Next the lumbar adjustment. This tractor is certainly not like the Ford 8N I started out with in 1969 ! :)

Very nice tractor and impressive attachment list. Be sure to post more pictures and your thoughts of the set up once you get some hours on it.

Congrats on buying a great tractor. I looked at the T4.75 when I was tractor shopping, and it really is a nice tractor. I thought the cab was fantastic - the best cab of any tractor I looked at.

Ultimately, I decided it was more tractor than I needed (and more $$$ than I needed to spend). While I love my Kioti, there are times I wish I had a little more power, and I think about the T4.75.

Yes, The unit I bought is pretty much like a Rolls Royce inside the cab. I really like the way the steering wheel and dash board can be tilted rearward and the 12 X 12 transmission with hydro-shuttle works great. The Boomer 3050 with CVT I traded in worked really well but at my age I did not prefer the toggle switch up and down cruise control and all the computer alarms. The T 4.75 is a much larger tractor with a real clutch, gears and a hand throttle that matches the foot throttle as a cruise control. The hand throttle is just to the front right of the drivers seat and much easier to adjust than those forward near the steering wheel. I feel like a kid with this tractor and secretly wish we were closer to Spring 2015 so I could go out and mow ! :)
PS- My wife is teasing me in that I cut out a one piece floor mat from remnant carpet and sealed the edges with a hot glue gun. Also made mini carpet inserts for the in cab cubby holes that hold cell phones, tools etc. With the carpet installed the wife says the inside of the cab looks like a high class ***** house. I have to agree. Now where can I find a mini mirror ball to hang from the ceiling?
PPS- Was also able to mount my coffee mug holder from the Boomer 3050 onto a grab rail on the T 4.75 right next to the dash in a very convenient place. As many know the cup/mug holders in many tractors are way too shallow and suck at holding coffee mugs even on slight bumps. I use a holder that clamps to any round bar. It is made and sold to fit motorcycle handlebars but works super in a cabbed tractor.

Found out from the dealer that the slight grinding when putting the PTO into gear needs a factory spring update so they are sending out a mechanic tomorrow to replace the spring. So far so good.

Congrats and Good luck with new tractor. How many rear remotes? 3rd function for loader? Did you get the tires loaded? Have you tried lifting with the forks or used the grapple yet? Was wondering what the actual pallet lifting capacity and lifting height was. I think you will love not having to deal/worry about all the computerized accessories.
