Trading the 2305?

Was looking at the 2520 and was wondering if anyone else was considering the same idea? I enjoy the payment that I have on the 2305, makes it easy to justify the expence, but would the 2520 be a good upgrade? Thanks Fitz /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Fitz..Your sure in a posting mood today... What happened? Did the sun peak out ? Is the 2520 basically the old 4110 tractor with an additional 5 hp ? I see the weight is close, many of the same options. Does this one have a 1 speed hydro ? They don't mention it in the specs. I think the 2 speed is great and use it quite frequently. Base price is the same also. I am very satisfied with my 4110 for the duties it performs. I haven't run out of power and it turns quite sharp. The 3 point is awesome. I would like to try a 200cx in the near future but I have a loader on the tc 45d new holland. When I looked at the 2305 I wanted a little larger frame. No doubt the 2305 does well for its specs. That is why JD makes 20 different models.... for guys like me that have a hard time picking out just one. Have fun, they all run great !!

I was on it for 4 hours today and actually got done early. Is the 4110 and the 2520 the same to you? I havent seen a 4110. My questions would be; are the final drives okay? they seem to be tear drop, not staight shafts? Will it handle a back hoe? I like that the hydrolic flow is twice as fast as the 2305. I have the 200CX loader and it is more than half of what time is spent on the tractor. Also does it seem top heavy or tipsy? The other thing is that the 2305 has a full frame and the 2520 uses the engine/trans as a stressed menber of the frame, does the 4110 have that? Have you had any problems issues with it? The 2520 is the replacement for the 4115. The 2320, about to hit dealer shelves anyday now, is the replacement for the 4110, but perhaps closer to the size of the 4010. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
