Kubota MX5100 w/Loader, Kubota B7500, John Deere F935
OK, so you might say I put the cart before the horse, so here is what I need advice on. I own a L3400, great tractor I used it for bush hog, and disk. I bought a new place (41 Acre) soil is more clay than sanding of my old place and the L3400 was starting to strain a bit with the bigger disc and tiller I bought for my new place. So my answer buy a bigger tractor (MX5100), should be delivered in a couple days.
Problem; I use to haul the L3400 to the old place to help out putting in food plots and cutting. I have a 16 FT 7000 Lb trailer. I am wondering if it is going to be big enough for the new rig. I usually hauled the tractor and an implement. I am excited about getting the new tractor, but after buying new implements, and then a new tractor to fit the implements, not sure if the wife is gonna wanna hear that I need a bigger trailer..

I have a MX5000. With the loader and a box blade on the rear, I hung over the end of my 16' trailer a bit. Now, a 7000 lb trailer does not seem big enough to me, I'm sure it would do it but you might be over a little. Mine was a 10,000 lb. My tires are filled as well.

Tractor weighs less than 4,000 pounds? What does the FEL weigh and the implements? 7,000 pound capacity including the trailer (two 3,500 pound axles) or 7,000 pound carrying capacity (two 5,000 pound axles)?

You will be close on the trailer's capacity. It will hang over the end a bit, can you run red flags on the overhang, is that legal in your state? Look into the legalities but on the weight you should be OK.

depending on whats hooked to the tractor when hauling you might want to step up to a 20ft trailer.

I have the MX5100 I have no complaints ! Pull on a 20 foot trailer With 7000 lb axles perfect combo your trailer is ok with tractor and loader but will be slightly overloaded with implements my 6 foot bush hog still hangs out the back of the trailer about 2 foot with the front bucket setting on top of the front rail of the trailer with bucket tilted down
