Oh great. Now I hear about Moultrie not being so good. Well, mine works pretty good but now I'll be paranoid. It has taken thousands of excellent photos of danged squirrels![]()
I was on a budget though so I did not have the highest expectations. I'd love one of those $300 or $400 cams.
I've been very pleased with my Moultrie I40. Long battery life, even in sub-zero temperatures, clear images. Eddie's right about the IR night-time photos being black and white. I don't have mine aimed at a feeder, and have found that the mounting location has a lot to do with picture quality and eliminating "nuisance" shots. For example, the closer to the ground the better, camera and aim point not in direct sunlight, and minimal site disturbance.
