Redbug...
Great shots of the hogs. I wish I was there to take some shots at the hogs. You and Eddie have free food for the taking. Amazing.

I am a real softie when it comes to animals, but hogs I could hunt and eat no problem.

mmmmmmm, pork......

Thanks Jimmy! Seeing those pics really got me excited. There's a whole world of things going on at night while we are asleep.

Mscheer...Great pics. What a buck! The other...maybe a coyote?

On the serious side...Look at what my camera caught yesterday...

Redbug,
That buck is obviously photoshopped, but you should call someone about coming and doing a show in search of bigfoot. Just keep the beef jerky handy.

Wow Mscheer...I never realized wolves were in Illinois! If DNR says no, then I would present them with the pics. That's very interesting.

All we have down here are coyotes and what few foxes the coyotes have not pushed out. Armadillos are working their way up here from Georgia. I even saw one dead on the side of the road up here just outside of Columbia...in the center of the state. I guess the cold from the winters will define their range in the future.

Red I believe there are wolves in Illinois, but this photo was taken in Northern Wisconsin.
I'm a volunteer carnivore tracker for the WDNR.
This wolf could be part of the Ghost Lake wolf pack.

Well, pulled out the 3 year old Moultrie, again. Put it up yesterday with a new battery, yep same Moultrie quality, Battery at 20% and no pictures. Thing worked good for about a week when it was new.

I sat in my ground blind yesterday evening, had 8 deer go to the feeder after hanging out in the oats for an hour, so it was no shortage of animals.

I may look at the one you have Eddie, I like the 12v idea. The moultrie I have is designed for an external solar panel (plugs on outside of box). I could never keep a battery charged with it though.
Last dollar Moultrie will ever get from me, and we ain't even talking about feeder timers either!

I have had a Moultrie I60 for a couple years now. Still on the first set of 6 D cell batteries. That is the best thing I can say about it, is the battery power.

I'd like a quicker response time for the first shot (get a 5 sec video then a still pic with time, date, etc captured). All in all, it is satisfactory. But am looking for a different model. Like the Cuddeback pics I've seen as well as the Predator pics. Both seem to be hard on batteries, from friends with them. The one with the Cuddeback says it is back at the factory for fixing most of the time. I raised the aimpoint up so I get fewer ground action, like squirrels, turkeys, and coons.
