I went out and had a look at the merchandise today.
Three of the trailers , all triple axle, were there. The auctioneer said they were using the other two, a triple and a tandem, to haul stuff to the auction lot yet. There is no GVW plate on them, just a plate with the manufacturer's name, serial # and date of mfg. The tires are 20.5-8-10 with a max load rating of 1535# @ 90psi. My guess is that the axles are rated for somewhere between 2000 and 3000# ea. The deck is 7'6" inside the rails and about 7'10" on the outside of the rails. The flat part of the deck (wood) is 18' long and there is a 2' dovetail of expanded mesh. They have split gate ramps that are severely sturdy. They have several lengths of square tubing spaced about 2" apart under the center of each ramp. Deck height is approximately 24" off the ground. The Surge brake/pintle assy looks to have been added onto the existing trailer. I think these could be removed and a bulldog coupler put on the main tube, but that may make the tongue a little short. One of the trailers has a large rack made of expanded mesh on the front of the trailer. There are multiple locking compartments for chains, gas cans, tools etc. All also have the "armstrong" front winch. Overall, for being 15 years old, they are in decent condition.
