If your going off road a lot with trailer, across pastures and such, or recently cleared land, be sure to check wiring going to brakes. A limb, stump, etc., might have pulled wires out or loose...if going across streams, in mud, etc, then may pull wheels and check inside drums for rust, mud, frayed wires, etc. Bearings may need repacking if run in water a lot, (like a boat trailer). Make sure your lights are also working. No need being able to stop in a hurry if someone whacks you from behind because they didn't know you were stopping.
