Hi all i have a bobcat m610 the book tells me that it weighs 4000 wet so would i be able to get away hauling it on my 16 foot car hauler it has 2 3500 lb axels and the trailer weighs 2100 so i think i will be ok as total combined weight is 6100 what do you guys think

You are just getting by..You only have 900lbs to play with.
IMO if you are using it for jobs I would look at getting a 10k trailer...
You will be eventually twisting the car hauler apart with a high useage.

If you are using it day in and day out get a 10K trailer. If you are like most of us and haul it 2 times a month you will be ok with the 7K trailer as long as its in good shape, good tires, ect.

I agree completely. Relatively small cost difference between 10k and 7k capacity.

By the time you add chain, binders, dirt stuck to the machine, a bunch of shovels, and whatever else to your trailer, you'd chisle away at that residual 900# really quick.

Even still, I personally wouldn't want to load a trailer and routinely tow it loaded to capacity. That's putting all my faith in that guy I don't know that welded it together on a Friday afternoon...or all my faith that those guys in China really DO care how well they manufacture their tires.

You will be fine unless your trailer is a POS.

thanks so far for the info the trailer is brand new this august so i think i will be ok for a few times per month
