He still does it. )</font> -Apparantly he has some convoluted story and he's stickin' to it. Maybe he has a relative that lives in Maine and registers it for him in their name, but then legally they own it, with all the liability that goes with it. As far as I know, an individual can only have one legal address at a time. As for the reason for doing it, I would assume it's financial. I have heard that some trucking firms that have a presence in several states will register their semi-trailers in Maine because it's cheaper. I don't know if that's still true.
