Thanks for the ideas.. This is a gooseneck lowboy but still has a high deck I guess from the 16" wheels/ 7K axles.
First off in my sleepy stupor typing last night I incorrectly said my ramps are only 2', 45 twelve hour graveyard shifts in a row are starting to get to me
. My ramps are about 4' and I am considering making ramps 1-2 foot longer only to be used when the BH is on. Secondly I am not smart enough to unload it in the field, the earth would be much mor foregiving than concrete
.. I did try backing it on it still hit.
I am also going to raise front of trailer by lengthing the gooseneck about 4" so when the trailer is loaded it would sit level rather than low in front.
