I just picked up a b3200 and its getting dropped off tomorrow. Im wondering how big of a trailer Ill need to transport it. I currently have a 14' equipment trailer but am worried that it wont fit. It has a BH and FEL and if need be the BH can stick off the back of the trailer as long as the bucket completly on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I use a 16' dual axle and don't have a backhoe on my B3200. With FEL and landscape rake it was close but it fit. Not sure if landscape rake added length would be more, same or less than closed backhoe.

Keep in mind you need some room to properly balance it for proper tongue weight. If I recall 14' was tight for even a BX24.

Second the motion on the comment about balance. Had a BX sized tractor before the B3200 and you didn't really worry about it too much on the 16' trailer. But now, it is nice to be able to have the room to position it properly, mind you nothing bigger than a BB so far on the back. Snowblower will likely be a bit bigger than the BB but that should still be OK. Anything longer an extra two feet would be nice.

I have a B3200 TLB and I'm looking for a trailer as well. I am going to buy a 16 foot equipment/utility trailer with 7000 GVW. I am wondering if I would be better off backing the tractor onto the trailer so the weight of the backhoe is on the hitch rather than behind the axles. Does that sound like a safer way to trailer a TLB that is a little over 16 feet long on a 16 foot trailer?

Try it both ways. You'll learn what's best. Too much tongue weight is bad too.

The 14' trailer worked out. I had to rest the loader bucked on the tounge part a little and the backhoe sticks just a little beyond the ramps on the back but its ecure and stable. I have a 1 ton dually and I can have 2000 lbs touge wieght and barly notice it so Itll work out till I save up the cash to buy a little bit longer trailer.

Thanks

Is the backhoe bucket on the trailer floor. I was told it's illegal for it to hang over the back.

I's to short for a B3200.
I use a 16' with a 7000 Lb GVWR to haul my B3030.
I'm lookin for an 18 footer for my BX23.

I don't think it's legal to have anything on the tongue. You need at least a 16 footer an 18 feet would be better.

*I've heard the same thing.
