I have a steep hillside that had grown up with extremely dense brush, briars and small trees and with gully washes that were dangerously steep and hard to deal with since I couldn't see where I was getting into until I was already there. In comes Roy Vice with his front track loader. He did me side to side roads/trails/paths with drop downs at each end to tie them all together. He also moved a big pile of top soil up the hill and moved some almost bolders that I couldn't move with my tractor.
$650 later I have these fantastic roads/trails/paths or they will be when I get them dressed up with my equipment. A dozer would have been quicker but he had brought a track front loader for some work for my neighbor. He first cut them a bit steep and I had him go back over them to level the paths down for comfortable driving. Now I need a RTV900 to give my Grands rides on the trails.
Would have been extremely dangerous for me to have done and would have taken weeks. I had done some clearing myself with my Ratchetrake and it was butt clinching and very time consuming. Well spent $650.
