Tsc sells traveler trans hydraulic fluid that says it meets kubota udt specs anyone ever use it in there hydrostatic tractors
Is your Kubota still under warranty?I'm interested in trying it next change only because the dealer is 1 hour away vs a TSC 10 minutes away.
No but only because it's commercial use, good point for a lot of people though! Is your Kubota still under warranty?
The "does Kubota have a refinery somewhere"..... is an old red herring.Only people that have orange blood in their veins would continue using OEM oil, filters, grease, etc. after a purchase. Any aftermarket product that meets specifications cannot/will not void a manufacturers warranty. Why? Because of the Magnuson-Moss warranty act that prevents this deceitful practice. Does Kubota have a refinery somewhere? Caterpillar does this too, and they've been called out for it many times, and they lose every court case over it. In fact I'll bet Kubota has too.

Warranty Laws and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act
This article explains what the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is and how it affects consumers.www.findlaw.com
Don't be so ignorant! If you win, and you would, it wouldn't cost you a dime. In fact you could sue for punitive, etc.The "does Kubota have a refinery somewhere"..... is an old red herring.
Kubota DOES have a refinery somewhere!
They have a refinery make hydraulic fluid to THEIR (Kubota) specifications!
I can MUCH better afford to buy Kubota SUDT-2, than to pay $500+ per hour for a law firm to represent me in a Magunson-Moss lawsuit.
Might only cost me $200K to be able to say .....I won!

I have absolutely no desire to get needlessly involved in such a mindless lawsuit.Don't be so ignorant! If you win, and you would, it wouldn't cost you a dime. In fact you could sue for punitive, etc.
Put the orange Kool-Aid down and walk away.
I have had no occasion to test it, but others have and found the water to be just fine. This is just another Kubota money grab. Ever wonder why Sulzer or EMD don't sell branded oil? Because they don't sell consumer oriented engines. EMD's only stipulation used to be to only use chlorine free oil (CFO) regardless of brand because they had silver bearing inserts.I have absolutely no desire to get needlessly involved in such a mindless lawsuit.
You might choose to test such waters not I!
So, maybe I spend an extra $500 over 2000 hours, for hydraulic fluid changes.
I probably spilled more than that, back when I was drinking beer!
