Transmission Dump Valve? Ford 555B

Thanks for looking in - I recently purchased an 88 Ford 555B and the Trans Dump Valve is not working. I took off the base plate and see the contact arm mechanism is bent out of place / broken but I also don't see any wiring. Should there be wiring??....and where would it go? Thanks.

Power should go from the fuse panel, to the micro switch under the floor board, then down to the dump solenoid on the LH side of the trans.

Thanks - I had a strong feeling they weren't using wireless technology in 88!! Part #28 has been worn out - I don't even see where a wire went - I'll order a new one right away. Thanks for the diagram - what does #38 correspond to and I cant quite tell which fuse it should go to? Thanks again!

Fuse placement would constantly change on those machines. The repair manuals and op manuals never agreed. A lot of times, I'll run a new wire from the key switch, through an inline fuse, then to the two disconnect switches.

Where did you find the above scematic? My local new holland dealer cannot find the dump valve solinoid in his system. thanks...
