I was working my TS1610 yesterday and after a 1 hr. or so my trans. seem to get sluggish . I check the oil level by removing the oil level plug and the fluid looked like milk ?About a pint of this fluid came out. I did capture this and put it in a glass container to see if it seperates. After 12 hrs, I see no signs of water . Could mositure still be a problem here ? Or is this mormal ? Also , Is there a way to drain the fluid , I see no drain plug ? Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like water. There is a drain plug by the rear axle. Also clean the screen.

The top loader transmissions are known for taking on water if the boot on the shifter isn't in good shape.
