Thanks for all of the responces that have come in so far.
Radrock, the nearest Agco dealer is a little closer than the MF dealer, but not a whole lot. I appreciate the tip

Mine use to be 65 miles from me. I hated to drive that far but figured I would but I bought enough filters and oil for two changes. They also set me up so that I could get parts shipped to the house but oil was not able to ship without a horrible expense. I'm lucky as they opened up dealership about nine miles from here!!

Nine miles sounds like a dream. I used to pass the AC dealership on my way to work. I didn't know how well off I was.

I have been using Traveler from tractor supply close to 6 years and have had no problems. Maybe i have just been lucky,:2cents:

We have used the Traveler for over 21 years in a MF165 and MF255 with no issues. I want to say we also used in the TO-20 but I think we had some thing else for it. The 255 had wet brakes and never had no problems.

I just bought a 135. The hydraulic fluid appeared to be new. After 15 hours it is turning yellow. I keep tractor covered it doesn't look like its water in the fluid what's up?

I am using Wal-Mart Supertech tractor oil in my M-F 231S. It meets Permatran III spec. Cost me about $40.00 per 5 gal pail. Remember, M-F doesn't blend oils. I don't know who makes the Permatran III oil but the selling dealer likely makes a large profit on the stuff. The Wal-Mart oil is working just fine for me and keeps the transmission and hydraulics very clean and cool. I also use Supertech motor oils in some of my stuff. Go to BITOG for oil info...
