Can't seem to find this info in owners manual or searching here, does hydraulic fluid need to be "up to temperature" like a car transmission when checking the dipstick? I have a new L47 and pinched a hose on grapple. Not sure how much fluid I lost replacing hoses, dipstick shows low when cold. Thanks for info!

It really doesn't matter whether warm or cold. There is so much hydraulic oil in these compact tractors that heat expansion is barely noticeable. I've never noticed a difference on the dip stick or sight glass on any of the models I've owned.
