Transmission Material of the Original GR2000 Glide Steer

I sold my GR2000 yesterday and when I told a friend that I was looking at the BX models, he suggested that I not buy a Kubota if the transmission is made of White Metal.
He kind of through me off a little because I didn't think the GR2000 transmission was made of White Metal.
Does anyone know what it is made of? And is there anywhere in the documentation where it says what it is made of?

The material you are refering to, and what is pictured, is an aluminum alloy. Same material that the transmission case in your car or truck is made of. Philip.
