Trash Day!

   / Trash Day! #11
Hey! That's the exact same 96 gallon container that I have! Same company too!

I've been trying to figure out a way to move mine with my TC18, but I don't have the loader for mine...

So far, I've put on my 3pt pallet forks (the cheap ones) and carried it down the driveway. Too bumpy, it tends to fall off the pallet. I've also set it on the drawbar and held on to it with my hand, but that doesn't seem very safe. It's only 250 feet, I guess I could pull it down the driveway, but I don't think I'll want to once the snow flies!

OFF TOPIC--
By the way, what does that company charge per month in CA? I've found that company charges a different rate per county. Being on the county line, I found out if my house was across the road, it would cost $3 less per month. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I told WM that they could give me the cheaper rate and I would set it on the other side of the road. They went for it, even though I still get to put it out on my side of the road!

George by gosh I think you have something here. If the local dealerships jump on board with TV commercials and the like think of all the compact tractors that could be sold with FEL's used just to take the trash out to the curb. We could start some kind of a national campaign or something. Before you know it the economy would start looking better almost overnight. Personally, I'm for it as I am waiting for a NH TC40D to come in with my name on it. Can't wait to strap on the garbage cans and run to the road with them babies........ Once them neighbors see all that blue they'll be ordering one for themselves. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Here's my version of "trash day".

Works real good, except for the morning I had a brain dysfuntion and took off to work with it /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I did establish that you can pull a trash cart at 65 mph for about 6 miles before the tires disintegrate /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
