Wow, good to know it's that easy to split our tractors. In case I need a clutch someday or something.

It's harder to do a clutch.
The hst model can come apart in the middle close to where you sit.
If you need a clutch you have to split it forward at the engine/bellhousing joint.
More stuff to move there.
Aligning the clutch isn't bad on a single clutch tractor(hst).
Dual clutches are a little tougher.....

I agree i have broke tractors apart before. And the ck series os no where as bad as the bigger machines i have broke down. Its just you will need to have access to a shop for this kind of repair. Its not something you do in your back yard.

talked to my dealer today and this is a known issue with Kioit and it is a repair free of charge if you take the tractor to the dealer with this issue. I have scheduled mine to be repaired. It is a recal type thing but not exactly that.

It it not a recall, it is a update for those who are having a problem with a sticky pedal. Many of these units have no problems at all with the pedal and do not need this update.

Sounds like what people in the auto industry call a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB). Not a recall, but a common enough issue where the manufacturer will repair the issue under the warranty.

I heard from a reputable dealer that the issue seems to occur mostly in tractors left outside. Not sure if that is exclusively a problem of tractors that get wet however. I had a 2004 CK20 that I kept in a barn and never had a sticky pedal problem.

Yeah like i said it isnt exactly a recall. As far as keeping it in the shed out of the rain, mine has never been in the rain since i have owned it that i can recall. Like the other guy said it isnt all of them either and it is only on tractors amde before 2006 i think he told me. After that they were putting the new parts in. I did find out that the labor would be covered by my dealer so i guess kioti will not cover the labor just the parts from the way he talked. In any case the tractor is in the shop now. This would be the only thing that has been wrong witht the tractor since i got it and i dont really consider it a major issue. I have done things with that little tractor that some cant do with about a 40 HP 2wd machine and it has never checked up or complained. I have already started talking to my dealler about a DK 55.
