I found out about lawyer when we did our crep planting. A cost share planting program to reduce erosion. I had to plant a variety of trees and shrubs but I was able to choose for the most part.
I planted pin oaks my fastest growing tree, black walnut, butternut, hickory, swamp white oak, elderberry, american cranberry, and hazelnuts. I then re-bought some hazelnuts and red oak to replant areas of monoculture that I wanted to reforest.
