Planted 10) Burr Oak, 10) Dolgo Crab, 10) Prairie Crab, 10) Common Apple, 2) Bradford Crab and 1) Honey Crisp.
All except for 12 are in tree tubes. All are at the "new" place.
I have planted 2000 white cedar and 1000 White Pine about 25 years ago at the "old" place and they are doing well. I have cut about 200-300 white cedar to thin the stand and it could use more thinning but we are selling the place and I don't have the time.
Sadly I'll never see the Oaks become what I can only hope they will become.
Maybe my great great great great great great grand kids will see them.
