I planted ten Austree hybrids last spring that were about 1 1/2 feet tall. The tallest is now 5 feet. They claim they can grow 10 feet in a year. They were about 80 dollars for 10 but get cheaper the more you buy. Somewhere there is a thread similar to this one, I think called "fast growing trees" with info you might like. Check out the links below too. I ordered some Norway and blue spruces from Advanced tree this year and they should be here in 3 weeks.

I actually ordered ten and planted 5 of the Austrees. Neighbor took the other 5. His grew only 1 to 1 1/2 feet because of not enough watering.
