Here are some pictures of the completed drain from my downspouts to the pond. Hopefully it should help fill it up.

This is the finished product. I took the backhoe off and put my backblade on to fill it in. After that I made sure it worked by putting water into the pipe and sure enough it came out into the pond :)

I sure hope you used a solid, non perforated drain pipe as I did. I didn't want all the
water dumping out the end as you do. I can imagine how much water you can
accumulate with a solid drain. I still have substantial amounts of water running out the ends of mine even though a lot drains out the entire length before it reaches the end. happy pond filling. Make sure you put a grate on the end. Sure makes an
enticing crawlspace for the occasional critter that happens by. Hope they're good
backeruppers. No place to turn around.

Yeah I used solid drain pipe. I made a screen to put on the end so the snakes, etc don't come up to the house. I sure hope this works..... The pond is awful low.

No pond here, but I use a similar method for filling a 1000 underground cistern that I use for watering. Amazing how quickly it will fill up (if we ever get rain) - Just as amazing how quickly you can empty it!

Do you also have the front gutters draining into the pond? It looks like from the picture that the pond area is a lot larger than the house footprint, so it will take several inches on the roof for each inch in the pond. Also looks like you will need some Texas sized to replenish that pond!

Good luck do a rain dance
Cheers
John
