I drilled through a foundation pad and tunneled under 3' of masonry apron outside to thread a tube into the garage from outside.
It seemed daunting, but when I finally got to it, it only took a few hours.
For irrigation lines, I made a ripper / puller for the tractor that pulls the tubes below the surface of the ground. Max is 2' deep and sometimes only 18" if I hit something hard down there [it will stop the tractor, 4 wheels digging in and all].
I've put in more than 1000 yards of tube, 1" to 2"
It sure is fast!
I slid entire lengths [100 meters long] into the ground, but it doesn't like to go around corners very much.
