Re: Trescrows, Defender of the BX, Request and not comparison with articulated tractors

Whoa, that's harsh! Should the Native Americans not buy anything made in this country as well? I hear this same line of thinking from my father in law who is a "Pearl Harbor Survivor". Last time I checked, they were our friends, trading partners, and makers of exellent mechanical stuff, much made right here in the US (Like my Honda Accord) keepng American workers busy.

suggestion, do not just pick at one thought in my post. cnn, fox, reuter do that much better. i tried to be fair and presented my case in three points. did you not get it?

my attempt was and is to clear-up a confusion of comparing two things not being identical, one. two, the american product is less expensive, has been tested in the usa and abroad in its larger version for many years also.

and never supported a war effort, number three opinion.

i am surveyor of ww2, and vietnam and still kicking and the usa is not my country of birth, but country of choice, as indicated.

Re: Trescrows, Defender of the BX, Request and not comparison with articulated tractors

Huh?, I think the war is over, WWII is anyway--we won that one. Now that WWIII is started, I don't think the Japanese are our enemy in this one.
It is a world market and if US companies want my buisness they can stop doing things like the Enron fiasco and buying and selling brand names and instead actually build something. This area always results in a flame war--so I am bailing on this thread. Proud to drive Kubota and Toyota and the Yankee Imperialist companies can kiss my Rebel rear. Heck I would rather fight that one over on TBN that WWII. Too-do-loo.

As someone said, they're both good, and you won't go wrong selecting either. Unfortunately, by the same token you'll always wonder about the one you don't get.
Good luck.

Highmile:
I suspect the age question was directed to me, since I mentioned car, truck and boat hours. In answer to your question about my age, I'm 60. I only listed car, truck and boat hours, not airplane, which I also have some of. I have four brothers, four grown children, and assorted nieces and nephews, as well, so I have no shortage of people to put hours on available machines. When I'm sitting typing nonsense on a computer, there is often a family member making machinery noise.
