When we first bought our acreage here, the hay cutter and hunters came across my neighbor's 5 acres and across mine because they had no idea where the boundaries were. They just hunted and cut until they couldn't cross a little stream that's on the north boundary of our property.
My neighbor finally put up no trespassing signs and I informed the hay cutter. Got that stopped. Now, 15-16 years later, there is a nice growth of trees down there.
The hunters didn't stop until later. I discovered them one day when I was riding my Gravely cart, typically, naked across my property. The 2nd pass along a trail I'd made I looked up and saw a cross bow hunter up a tree at the edge of the little stream. I talked to him and informed him that it was my property. I let them hunt initially but then stopped it and did my own hunting. Have taken out about 30 hooved rats.
