Tri axle dump truck hourly rate?

I pay $80/hr from the time he leaves the yard, till the time he returns in northern Ontario. When you figure your cost here insurance can be $1000/ mon and tags $2-300 a month. I looked at buying an truck and I couldn't make the numbers work so I hire it out.

It's still interesting to hear about varying rates.

Triaxles are scarce as hens teeth around here. Too bad, their ability to access a lot of my jobsites would sure be handy.

IF you are down around Milton I can think of quite a few.

No, I'm in northern Ontario. But rates fell again this past summer because "new" dump truckers have moved into the area and taken over.
So I closed my business and got a job operating equipment in a mine. Now my annual salary is about 20 grand less than what my $240,000 trucks made and I only have to buy my own underware and a coffee mug now and keep the rest.

I trucked for 36 years. I hope I never see another one again, LOL
