Tri-Mount Ball set-up question.

   / Tri-Mount Ball set-up question. #11
I have one of those tri universal ball set ups I just use around the place on the back of the tractor.
In the pickup I carry a variety of balls and two different drops that are of course reversable and they are all HD. I like to err on the side of caution. And to add to that, all my safety chains are HD over the top real McCoy and not some wimpy looking things that belong on a garden gate.

I have one of those with 3 balls & a hook. Its usually in my 3pt trailer mover (which only ever seems to get attached to my SSQA to 3pt Quick Hitch adapter on the loader rather than on the 3pt). Works great moving things around the place.

The lack of drop kills it for my trucks though. I have several different drop hitches with various balls. Lately I picked up a nice adjustable aluminum one. Has a 2" & 2 5/16" ball on either side & 6" of adjustable drop (12" if you flip it for lift). Its now my go to hitch. Cost $150 or so.
