No, it's actually better. I was going to face it forward, but I bet this works better.

Thanks for the link.

J.J.
That looks really cool, I can think of many uses for something like that. Is it a bucket or just a cutting wedge plate?

Bob and PJ. I will try and resize some more pictures, but look at this one. You could mount a Quick-attach plate to this one and dig/cut both ways.

I really liked the first picture as it appeared to be very simple in design. Perfect for water ditch, trench for planting.
Not sure the kind of pressure you would be putting on the plate and arms going backwards.

Here is another one that could be attached to a Quick-attach plate. The scoop part could be in the center or all the way to the left or right. This one looks like it could be built for less than $100., maybe less.

Actually, it would work like the mini-hoe if set in the down position and drag the bucket backwards. I watched a video on that two sided bucket, and it worked great.

You would have to design the unit to accomplished what you are trying to do. Just use good thick steel and proper welding
technique and it should come out all right.

And another neat idea. This one could be made as small or as large as you want.

Great ideas, but Clint already bought the 12 inch bucket. My decisions are basically how to connect it to a quick attach plate. He suggested facing it forward so it's really just a small bucket. I don't plan to weld to the bucket since it has bolt holes in it.
Attached is a picture of my wife lowering me into the bucket for weld inspections.

The welds all looked good. I am attaching another picture.

I would like to be able to face the bucket either way (facing back or facing forward).
