Trip To Tazewell

How long (time / mileage) was the drive from Roanoke to Tazewell? When I was considering a visit to PT, it didn't look like any airport was close. Of course, you never said it was close, but was curious about the driving time in case I get the urge to go visit the PT folks.

From the airport in Roanoke to the PT plant in Tazewell is about 3 hours, give or take, depending on your driving style.

I live about 30 minutes fom the airport on one of the better routes you might take. It gets pretty curvy and mountainous in spots. It's a familiar trip for me, but it all depends on what you're used to.

If we can work out scheduling, you're welcome to stop by and try out our PT 425 and our various attachments (see the "Meet Kermit!" thread). Our 10 acres is a good bit more steep and rocky than the test area at the PT factory, so it might be a useful comparison.

I might even be able to accompany you, if things work out. It's been a while since I got a PT factory trip fix...

As already mentioned the trip from the airport and then via freeway was very fast (seems like only and hour?) but via the mountain two lane road that was about 3 hours if I remember right.
Beautiful country, well worth the trip.

How far is Newnan from Chattanooga,TN ? I'm planning on going up the second Tuesday in May with a friend and would be happy for you to ride with us if t fit your schedule.db
