Triple Rinsing

Maybe be proper in Colorado but I don't have the time to waste letting cleaning solution lay in the spray tank for 8 hours. Put in my Dawn, fill 1/3 full, turn on the agitation, spritz the inside well, drain and rinse twice. been doing it that way for oh, 25 years now and never had a crop damage issue. I will say the grass in the center of the driveway is brown though.:laughing:

I just use the same sprayer for everything. I've always just rinsed with water. Most of what I use is round up. I guess if I was spraying food that I would eat out of a garden I might worry about getting a separate sprayer.

We always used this on the farm for rinsing our 100 gallon and 500 gallon tank sprayers.

Exactly. Sometimes I think about putting Ultra Max on the lawn. I hate mowing grass. I mow my rentals too.

I pull a 500 gal pto sprayer with round up or malathion, copper, or manzate.
When Im done I always rinse it with hot water. I used to spray 2000 gals in a day, but we downsized, know Im down to 500, but I still use the same method of cleaning the sprayer.

Dawn is useful for a lot of things. I keep a watered down bottle in my truck for washing my hands. I've even heard of people using it to do their dishes!
I don't dare read the label though as I'm sure that it must cause cancer in California.

With hot hot water, after 50 gals its clean, its an air blast sprayer, and I remove the jets and soak them too.
