Okay everyone:
I waited anxiously for this Saturday so I could go pick up the Bonneville.
Worked real late Friday night so I didn't get as early start as I would have liked, but the Bonnie is now at my place, residing in the shop.
I shot a few pictures of it for everyone to enjoy, as promised. I got some very interesting looks as I brought it home in the back of the F350 Ford on I-94. People started to pass by and then realized it wasn't a Harley or a Japanese bike, but an English bike. Quite a few of them rode along side and scoped it out.
The T-100 is very quiet. Almost too quiet and the absence of a kick starter, well I was told that the Federal Government doesn't allow kick starters on bikes with a displacement of over 650 cc. The Bonnie is 790 cc.
The bike is of a smaller physical stature, just like my 1968 was. In fact, other than the quiet pipes and the absence of vibration, It feels exactly as I remember my 1968 Bonnie felt.
I will be looking forward to warm weather so that I may take it from the shop and go riding.
