Trouble connecting hydraulic lines on BH77 Backhoe

Hello. I am having a terrible time getting the hydraulic lines connected from backhoe to Kubota. They go all the way in but will not lock, anyone have any idea how to fix this? The driveway is in shambles!

You may have pressure on lines. Wrap a rag around male ends to protect eyes push detent male fitting down, I use mount of tractor and release fluid, then reinsert. Be careful when the release something may shift on equipment.

Or a little dirt in female end, watch out for eyes shoot air into female and clean. Both options happened to me. Remember safety first.

Release pressure from the fittings any way you can.
