Kubota B7610
I have a new Kubota 3901; traded in the B7610. I bought a woods log splitter years ago and had the tractor hydraulic line cut on the B7610 pictures 8-27-17 668.jpgin the back so that I could hook up the splitter - worked really well. I had the Kuboa dealer do the same with the new tractor but when I hooked up the splitter, it didn't work. The hydraulic lines seem to seize up but the splitter doesn't move. I'm missing something on how to make this work. Any suggestions, thanks

I'm a little confused, it looks as if only a single hose actually goes to the splitter's valve. Where do the all of the hoses come from and go to on the tractor?

The quick connects on the back of the tractor, is there a line that connects them together when not in use?. Since your old tractor and new tractor are open center hydraulics it should work , a picture of the back of the tractor would be helpful.

Agree, need to see how it's hooked to tractor.

There alot more that goes into it than simply "cutting" a tractor line and putting a splitter on.

Need to see the rest of the circuit as something is likely plumbed wrong.

Did the Kubota dealer actually install a factory remote?
Is it a detent valve? Or are you using a bungee to actuate the valve?

More pics, more details needed.

I predict that either;
one of the quick connects is not fully seated,
or
one of the quick connects is not "opening".

From your description it sounds like they installed the QC in the line between the loader valve and 3pt, if the 3pt is in the full up position it can cause those syptoms, try lowering the 3pt lever.

Also are the male and female QC on the new tractor on the same sides of the hydrulic lines as on the old tractor? Could it be possible the lines are reversed?
