trouble lifting MMM

Sometimes it takes me three times to raise my deck fully. I have to push the lift handle back down and then back up each time the deck stops while being lifted. I have adjusted the lift speed knob and it has helped somewhat, but not totally. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same "problem". Turns out that I just had to lube the linkages and the lift rod that has the two springs on it. I used some of the Amsoil spray-on synthetic grease and all my problems went away.
