Trouble with hard hydraulic lines on my NH 638 baler

Taem, if you ever come this way down here I can make those while you wait, very common tube assy. If it was winter I’m up that way close almost every weekend running my hare hounds.

Thanks. Really appreciate the offer. We eventually found some pipe at McMaster Carr and my son did a great job of bending, fitting and tightening up. We're out of the woods now, but it was a simple job, no complex bends.

"Swadgelock" makes a line of compression fittings for hydraulic tubing. Expensive, but cheaper than buying a 37 degree flaring tool for one or two fittings for JICs. Common in the industrial piping world. They come with a gauge that will prevent over-tightening which will ruin that joint. Used a bunch one time to re-pipe three 5" gun mounts an a Navy Olier. There were over 100 connections per mount. An apprentice over-tightened Some as we found out on startup. His excuse was, the last journeyman I worked with always said "make it up tight then go another round". Not a good idea on compression fittings of any kind.
