Could need tine/axle seals, internal gears, you name it! A lot of these got different engines put on them. Look on the top left side of the transmission housing for the serial # and look it up on the chart for the year.
His price is average and condition is unknown, so its a crap shoot as to actual condition!
I have and use 8 of them plus a couple other brands.
They are a b***h to work on! simple seal or internal gear replacement requires complete dis assembly usually. Still ---- they are a good tiller.
