Troybilt Greyhound engine swap

We bought a Troybilt with the Greyhound engine swap already done, but after almost 2 seasons on it the little red on/off switch came apart and I can't seem to find a replacement.(we don't have the paperwork for the engine) Can anyone tell me how to get a new switch?

Have you contacted Harbor Frieght? Check with them to see if they can get you the new switch.

The part number for the HF Grayhound 6.5HP model 66015 red on/off switch in my book is parts list K [Recoil Starter Assembly], part # 6[K] engine switch. Hope this helps.

Yes just as gregkabob suggested if you get in touch with Harbor Freight they will help you get the right switch. The same thing happened to one of our troybilt tillers and after trying different online sources I finally went back to harbor Freight and in less than a week I had a new switch for about $5.00 it was a bargain.

Why mess with the junk and bother ordering from HF when you can go to a local hardware store and just purchase a toggle switch for it. It will be cheaper and no fuss.....and easy to install too.
