Late model to me is 2002 and up. My Dmax was kinda lazy in stock form, I would get whipped on at stop lights by 4 cylinder stick shift Dakotas. After 7k mi of this, I installed a mild fueling box, run on level 2 60 hp most of the time, and have been happy ever since.

OK, I understand. I will try as long as I can to resist engine mods to protect my warranty. I guess when 5 years/100K is over I might have some fun. With what I have, it just doesn't make sense to add more. I guess the earlier DMAX's & 6 leakers need help.

You are funny. Any truck can be helped with a chip and some mods. The problem with the Dura Joke combo is the Allison will not handle too much with out going into limp mode. Maybe the Government will pump in some money so they can beef it up.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The game will change for you Bow Tie guys when the new Ford engine hits the streets pounding out 400 to 425 HP in stock form and about 725 FT LBS of torque.
