What kind of truck you got? Ford F550? GM Kodiak?

I don't know what wood weighs per cu ft but it is only slightly less than water at 64 lbs per cu ft. You are going to get a stack of wood 4ft x 3ft x 8ft.

4x3x8=96cu ft
96x64=6144 lbs

If wood only weights 80% of water or 52 lbs per ft you are still near 5000 lbs

My 2500HD has a payload of 3000+ lbs. I wouldn't put that much weight in it.

Southern Yellow Pine weighs 45 pounds/cf which results in 4,320 pounds. Even if I go only 2 feet high, I am still around 3,000 pounds. I think I will use my trailer or have it delivered.
