Yep frog was real hard to spot. In fact I am still not convinced.

Makes you appreciate life hey ! Friends were driving down from out of town for the weekend (Just gone) middle on Friday night some guy falls asleep and collects the side of their car (Large Nissna Patrol 4x4).

Luckily both cars remained on the road and on their wheels. Both driveable. At a closing speed of 200km/hr, very lucky with the outcome.

Yep, sure glad she's OK, Bill. Those seat belts really do save folks. My wife rolled her little station wagon, and came to a stop upside down on the pasture side of a barbed wire fence (without knocking the fence down) in a briar thicket 3 years ago this month. She got badly bruised and scratched, but you can just imagine what it would have been without the seat belt for either of our wives.

Bill I'm glad to hear that everything is ok. It gives you a different perspective on things.
I had the wonderful experience of returning my wife's 19 hour old minivan to her on Friday night. This was just after my sister hit a deer with it while test driving it. Hardest 2 mile drive that I have made lately. I keep reminding her how lucky we were and I think it worked after the initial shock wore off.

Thanks to all for the nice sentiments. The truck is totaled. She fell asleep at the wheel. She said she knew she was fighting it but was only a few miles from home...as we often hear. The air bags did not go off. She was already on the roof when she took out most of the trees, and they were only a couple of inches in diameter. A couple of guys (still unknown to us) came upon her right away. They "dug" her out because they were fearing the truck was going to break through the ice that was in the ditch and they didn't know how deep the water was. I give thanks for them.
We are more grateful each day that passes that this was not more serious. I planned an early start to the next day, so I turned in early the evening it happened and then went out like a light. The phone in our bedroom was unplugged and I did not hear the phone calls that were coming from the hospital. I was awakened by a police office knocking on the door. He came right to the point: "Sir, I'm sorry to inform you that your wife was in an accident this evening. You need to call the hospital at this number and ask for the social worker." That's all he could tell me! You can imagine what I was thinking. She's doing fine, though a little sore. Thanks again.
