trucking a tractor / what are the issues?

Yup. That was the answer I got when I said "Why do you want to see the vehicle I'm going to haul?" - "Liability". /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Also, I could have gotten a flatbed for a local rental but they said they don't rent flatbeds for one-way rentals. This was a couple of years ago.

So, rent the trailer with a small car as the towed vehicle, drive around the block, dump the car and go get your tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I know your joking.. but for all who doesn't.. the obviouis problem with this is, that in event of an accident, and you have substituted a hauled vehicle different that what you portrayed.. and they specifically don't like tractors... I'm guessing the insurance co. will do all it can to NOT honor any claims...
