I am looking for information on hauling a piece of equipment from the east coast to the midwest. I have heard of trucker listing boards which deal with hauling freight. Any help would be appreciated. I couldn't find any on the internet. Thanks in advance.

I can't offer anything but encouragement! There are too many independent truckers out there now for me not believe that there must be several Internet Sites for these people to find loads returning to keep from deadheading back. I'll just bet somebody here on TBN puts you on it. Don't let me down fellas.

Go to your local yellow pages and lookup "trucking brokers", these guys can place your request on a database which many truckers have access too. I have used their services and it works great. Good luck!!

Gentlemen: Thanks for your help and advice. My subject was not the usual for the tractorbynet forum. Your ideas, comments and encouragement are appreciated. Special thanks to JerryG for the website. I probably try all of the suggestions. Once again thanks!
