I've used a fair amount of Tru fuel, and also Husqvarna 50-1 fuel/mix...
IF we go out to chainsaw for the day, I buy 94 octane pump gas, but I only buy what I will use THAT day... THEN, the last tank of gas that goes into all the saws, is the high priced spread...
I've had zero problems since I started doing that... Before I started doing that, I had several carb problems and a few disolved fuel lines...and THAT wasn't cheap! Even though I ran the saws out of gas at the end of the day!
I bought a 5 gallon can of Husky fuel for 80 bucks, and it will be a while before it's used up...
The Husky fuel is a "synthetic" fuel, not pump gas, it's 95 octane and has a much longer shelf life, up to 5 years...
