Trying to buy a snowblower

Don't go smaller than 84".

If you have a cab, you want to have hydraulic control.

I ran a 74" on a 26 HP JD 2400. The tractor sure did not ask for more.

I'm definitely going with hyd chute rotation. Just wondering if I'd really need hyd deflector control. I have 2 rear remotes, but one of those is an RTC (return to center).

Got a quote on a Provoost PUMA-74 with hyd. motor chute rotation, $4778 USD +shipping to west coast. Presently waiting for shipping quote. The Farm King/Buhler blower of same specs is right at $4000 shipping included. My former Allied/Buhler I had for 10 yrs was pretty much maintenance free and, had minimal problems. Is the Provonost with the extra bucks?

I think you could buy 2 Woodmaxx's for what that Prov unit will cost you.

Up to you if it's worth the "extra" bucks I guess?
