Trying to decide between the M8560 and NH T4.75

That would be a nice combo. I've been thinking about a land pride 15ft. Can get those for a pretty good price.

The Massey seems like a pretty solid built tractor. I keep going back to it. I just wish the cab was a little nicer and maybe the vents were lower like in the NH and Kubota. Do you think it makes a big difference if they are in the roof vs where they are located in the New Holland and Kubotas?

I think that is something you need to answer; is it a big deal to you? You seem to be thinking about it; is it something that you will think about everytime you are in the tractor? Otherwise as others have said is either dealer better to deal with than the other? In my area there are not nearly as many Agco dealers to choose from, so I did not look at the Massey when I was trying to decide on what tractor to get.

I do keep thinking about it. But then I think about other things too. Being that this is my first tractor purchase, I want to make sure to get something I can live with for a long time. But I need so much other stuff I can't just go out and blow a ton on a tractor. So I'm sure I'm overthinking a lot of this but I just want to try and get it right. I was being honest when I said I think I have it narrowed down to the Massey or the New Holland. Now just to make the jump

I use to run one behind my 50hp kubota(kubota 5040 vrs 15ft batwing)(I think that was the thread) and have done it with my 7040 once until blew a center gearbox and hard to find one for a 1979 model. I would put one behind my 7040,no problem. If ever needed,just don't take full width cut or slow down a bit. The 4609 you'll have the extra HP for it. I also have a WOODS DS1440 I use to cut pastures but I don't like it

Kind of off subject....but do you have larger tires on your 7040?

I found the pics my old 5040 with 15ftThat my 7040 before new tires came in,was brand new then
